The University of Mary Washington, in partnership with the Project Management Institute, is offering the Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification Exam Preparation Course. This 35-hour course is designed for individuals who are preparing for the PMP® and CAPM® certification examinations and current/practicing PMP’s who are seeking to increase their knowledge of PMBOK®, project management concepts, principles, practices, and terminology.
UMW’s Stafford campus is a Project Management Institute (PMI)® Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.) UMW is committed to enhancing the ongoing professional development of PMI® Members, certified Project Management Professionals, and other project management stakeholders through appropriate project management learning activities and products. As a PMI® R.E.P. UMW has agreed to abide by PMI® established operational and educational criteria, and is subject to random quality audits.

The course cost is $1,300.00 or $1,170.00 for PMI members; the cost for two or more individuals from the same organization is $1,150.00 each. (We also offer a significant discount for currently enrolled UMW degree-seeking students – please call for information.) The course cost includes the two new required textbooks PMBOK Guide, 5th Edition by PMI and PMP Exam Prep, 7th Edition by Rita Mulcahy, PMP and Ray Gill, PMP, will be your instructor. PMI membership information can be found on the PMI www site at www.pmi.org/Membership.aspx and the exam cost for members is less than the exam cost for non-members!
