Spotsylvania County Economic Development and Tourism Director
The University of Mary Washington Small Business Development Center is partnering with the Spotsylvania County Economic Development and Tourism Office to introduce and support Spotsylvania County’s BIG program for businesses. If you are a business owner in Spostylvania County and would like to learn more about the program, the eligibility requirements and how to apply, we invite you to join us.
This program is intended to stimulate, expand, diversify Spotsylvania Business Development.
Firms who apply need to meet the following criteria:
- Virtually any size or description of entity
- Must be located in Spotsylvania County throughout the grant period (typically 3 years)
- Applicant must be in good standing on all laws, codes, permits, taxes, loans, etc.
- Uses need to impact at least one of the following: increase jobs, facility, equipment, Spotsylvania supply chain, other growth
The UMW-SBDC will host a proposal workshop at the Spotsylvania County Department of Economic And Tourism on Wednesday, November 6 from 6 p.m – 8 p.m.
Registrations are due by Monday, October 28th.
