The QuickBooks workshop is designed to teach the basics of QuickBooks; the things that you need to know to perform typical bookkeeping tasks. Topics covered in the workshop include: How to Move Around in QuickBooks, Customer Center, Vendor Center, Banking, and Reports. The QuickBooks workshop will be hosted as an open forum to allow for questions and answers. Attendees will participate in Instructional, Lab and Question and Answer sessions.
Fee: $130.00 – A partner may attend for a fee of $80.
Partners will share instructional materials. Payments must be received in order to reserve your seat.

- If currently using QuickBooks Desktop and do not have a laptop, contact the office to reserve a computers. (There are limited computers available, reservations are by availability only and should be made prior to seminar date)

This workshop will be instructed by Debra Wilson from The Wilson Accounting Group, LLC.
Debra began her accounting business in 2007 after 10+ years in Governmental Accounting where she consulted or audited financial statements with a CPA firm at the federal agency level. After successfully reconciling $165M in 16 programs using QuickBooks she focused on growing her own business. In conjunction with her accounting she taught as adjunct faculty at Northern Virginia Community College, Bluefield State College and National Business College (Bluefield, VA). She holds accredited hours for a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Colorado Technical Institute and a B.S. in Business Administration, Marketing, and Accounting. She offers full cycle Accounting using QuickBooks to a wide range of clients in the Northern Virginia area. Her strength in business comprehension and governmental accounting allows her to offer solutions to a variety of clientele. Debra’s accomplishments include: CGFM (2003), ProAdvisor status with Intuit since 2007 and almost double the required CPE hours in Taxation, Audit, Non-Profit, and General Accounting. Prior to working in the Northern Virginia Area, Debra served as Chamber of Commerce Director where she was recognized by the White House in 1993 as one of 50 effective business leaders in Virginia and Maryland. Her clients refer to her as the Navy Seal of accounting.
